My neighbor says to use railroad ties but those might not fit with our look in the backyard. I was thinking more along the lines of some 2×6’s that are pre-treated to prevent rotting. Will this affect the chemicals that enter the soil? Are they dangerous? Does anyone have any good links to help with the building and prep work for a new veggie garden?

I’m think of making four 4×4 squares for the garden. Any tips would be great.

Okay so off and on since it started getting colder my battery light would go on. So I had the battery checked and they said it was fine. So finally my car dies, all electrical systems off, and we figure if not the battery its got to be the alternator. We remove the alternator, and go get it checked. Not the Alternator. Then we go get the battery checked again. Still not the battery. Then we put everything back in the car and it worked for the rest of the day.

And I’m starting a road trip here asap so this being fixed would be good. So I’m driving up to a friends house two hours away, to stay the night before i start my cross country trip. And the car dies again when i’m almost there, but the time between the battery light going on and the car dying is like twenty minutes at best. Its a 93 Toyota Corolla. Any one who has any ideas thanks.

I’m thinking it might be wiring between the alternator and the battery….
Alternator is newer. Belts have been replaced and tightened recently. Removed corrosion from the connectors on the battery as well already. thanks though…
